About Us
After eight wonderful years as El Tenedor Restaurant, we reimagined ourselves as a casual, vibrant café with a Northern Spanish spirit—San Sebastián meets Barcelona.
Our philosophy is simple: be your neighbourhood hub— fuss, no frills.
Morning: Coffee roasted by De Mello, fresh croissants and quiches. Patio or cozy bar seating.
Afternoons: Wines, French-Spanish inspired plates, wine, alcoholics and non-alcoholic cocktails in a more intimate vibe.
Private Gatherings: Canapes, wine, cocktails for up to 20 people, plus seasonal events.
Executive Chef
Chef César led El Tenedor Restaurant for over eight years, gaining acclaim for his weekly
tasting menus and wine pairings. Trained in Spanish and French traditions, his cooking blends
creativity, hospitality, and community. With El Tenedor Café, he brings that same passion into a
relaxed, everyday setting.

Food Philosophy
Elemental and simple cooking
Food is about bringing people together. Inspired by Northern Spain, France, and Toronto’s diverse
community, our dishes are fresh, flavourful, and approachable.
From croissants and quiches in the morning and noon, to small plates and wine at night, everything is crafted with care but without
pretense.
Good food, good drinks, good company—no fuss, no frills.
